Hello world..this is me...for the sake of anonymity lets just call me Miss Chronic....*waves to the world enthusiastically*
I am a forty something wife, mother, daughter and sister from Queensland Australia.
I live in the Australian bush on a beautiful 7 acre block with my gorgeous hubby and a menagerie of much loved pets and an abundance of wild life.
As you have probably gathered from the name of my blog I suffer from several chronic illnesses and have done for many years. Twenty plus years ago just after my first child was born I was diagnosed with LUPUS and have since gone on to develop FIBROMYALGIA and RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS. As the old song goes.."Some days are diamonds... and some days are stones!" Some days I can potter around to my hearts content and other days I struggle to get out of bed. The sun is my biggest enemy and I have to really pick and choose what time I can go out to tend to my outside animals. Pain is another one of my foes...most of the time I can control it but sometimes it becomes unrelenting and really wears me down.
I hope this blog will allow me to off load all of my daily happenings both good and bad and maybe even connect with others who may be in a similar boat to me.
